Arsenal’s summer transfer business is beginning to accelerate. The club have reportedly made wantaway Real Madrid winger Rodrygo a prime target this summer despite links to Morgan Rogers and Igor Paixao. They are also linked to 17-year-old Greek wonderkid Konstantinos Karetsas, and have registered an interest in Spanish goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who spent last season on loan from Chelsea at Bournemouth.

The Gunners’ ongoing interest in Benjamin Sesko could intensify as Man United have opted to move for Viktor Gyokeres, their other top target. United’s interest in the 27-year-old Swede comes as they saw a first bid for Brentford’s Bryan Mbeumo rejected earlier this week, despite agreeing personal terms for an eye-watering wage packet with the player. As busy as ever, Chelsea are continuing to disrupt the market. After announcing the signing of Liam Delap on Wednesday, the Blues are continuing to chase both AC Milan’s Mike Maignan and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike in a deal which could be worth as much as £84m, though the price tag is said to be something of a stumbling block for the Chelsea hierarchy.

They will need to move quickly, though, as Liverpool have also registered an interest in the player and are also looking to tie down a club-record move for Florian Wirtz. The Blues are also reportedly interested in adding another winger to the squad, with West Ham’s Mohamed Kudus and Jamie Gittens of Borussia Dortmund emerging as a target, while Manchester City look set to welcome all of Rayan Ait-Nouri, Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki ahead of the Club World Cup with medicals booked this weekend.
