Transfer news LIVE!
The first of two summer transfer windows edges ever closer and clubs are already in full swing with some early business. Arsenal want to sign a striker and Viktor Gyokeres is right at the top of their wanted list amid talk of a £65million bid. Martin Zubimendi should be first through the door, while Leroy Sane could be an option on a free transfer.
Manchester United are also looking to get a jump on their rivals by working on deals for Matheus Cunha, Liam Delap and, most recently, reportedly making a £54m offer for Bryan Mbeumo. Bruno Fernandes has sensationally been linked with a move to the Gunners. Chelsea want to sign a new striker, with Benjamin Sesko and Ollie Watkins linked.
Liverpool are set to make Jeremie Frimpong their first signing after a medical, and today have made their first move to sign Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth. Florian Wirtz is another huge target, with Man City now out of the race. Tottenham's transfer plans rest on them winning the Europa League and, therefore, qualifying for the Champions League. Arsenal face winger dilemma
There is uncertainty over Leandro Trossard’s future at Arsenal, as the club consider a move for Nico Williams.
Trossard is out of contract next summer, though there is the option to extend that deal until 2027.
The Telegraph report that a decision has not yet been made on Trossard’s long-term future, with Arsenal mulling a move for a new winger.
Williams is high on the wishlist, but would have to be one of Arsenal’s top earners and so the club may wait to see what happens with other players first.

Neville: Man United need at least six signings
Gary Neville has called for a “big overhaul” of the Man United squad this summer, claiming at least six signings are required.
“It needs a big overhaul in the summer,” Neville told The Athletic.
“Five or six players minimum to be able to change the direction of how he wants to play.
“There’s at least two forwards, a central midfield player, definitely two wing backs and another centre-back.
“They need six players minimum.”

Cunha a 'done deal'
Matheus Cunha is expected to sign for Manchester United after this weekend’s final match of the season.
Sky Sports report that United will trigger a £62.5m release clause.
No talks have yet taken place between the two clubs, but that will take place early next week.
It’s claimed that Cunha has decided he wants to join United and a deal is effectively agreed.

Garcia future up in the air
Arsenal’s move for Joan Garcia is looking increasingly uncertain.
That’s according to The Telegraph, with it reported that earlier this season there was an expectation in Spain that the Espanyol goalkeeper would join the Gunners.
However, it is said that Arsenal have not yet fully committed to pursuing the 24-year-old, while a number of other clubs are now keen on Garcia.

Liverpool boost with Man City OUT of Wirtz race
A huge new update to bring you now on Florian Wirtz.
The German forward has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer, potentially joining Bayer Leverkusen team-mate Jeremie Frimpong at Liverpool.
The Reds were rumoured to have held talks of their own over Wirtz when his parents - his dad is his agent - came to the UK last week for discussions with Manchester City.
However, Sami Mokbel of BBC Sport now reports that City are withdrawing their interest in a potential successor to the departing Kevin De Bruyne due to the “soaring costs” of the deal.
He says it could cost in the region of €300m altogether to sign Wirtz this summer.
A boost for Liverpool, but would they be willing to stretch that far?
Bayern Munich are also long-term suitors for Wirtz and are considered by many in Germany to be his most likely next destination.

Liverpool make Kerkez move amid new Cherki boost
Liverpool look to be continuing their early summer transfer push with a move for Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez, while Rayan Cherki has also put a host of Premier League suitors on alert.
The Reds are wasting preciously little time ahead of the first of two windows that officially opens on June 1 ahead of the inaugural expanded Club World Cup, having already pressed ahead with a move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Jeremie Frimpong.
The former Manchester City and Celtic right-back is seen as the ideal replacement for Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is expected to join Real Madrid this summer having publicly confirmed earlier this month that he would be leaving Anfield at the end of his expiring contract on June 30 after 21 years.
Liverpool look set to trigger Frimpong’s £29.5million release clause at the BayArena, with the Dutch international having reportedly arrived on Sunday in order to complete a medical.

Arsenal make decision over Max Dowman
Arsenal have already made one decision about their first-team squad ahead of the summer with youngster Max Dowman set to be part.
The 15-year-old wonderkid will be part of the club’s pre-season tour of Asia as Mikel Arteta takes another look at a player considered among the most talented ever produced by the academy.
The Mirror report that Dowman will also player for England’s Under-17s at the summer Euros before competiting for first-team minutes in midfield for the Gunners.

Gyokeres is 'on his way' to Arsenal
Big news coming out of Portugal today claims Viktor Gyokeres’ move to Arsenal is all but sealed.
Portuguese newspaper O Jogo leads with ‘Swede on his way to Arsenal’, claiming that a £59million fee has been agreed between the two clubs.
Personal terms are now set to be discussed but not expected to be a problem.
That’s good news for Newcastle and bad news for Manchester United, who have also been linked with the Sporting star.

Howe admits Arsenal target Isak could leave Newcastle
Eddie Howe says he is unable to guarantee Alexander Isak will be at Newcastle next season.
Isak has again topped the club's scoring charts this season with 27 goals in 41 matches, but missed Sunday's 1-0 loss to Arsenal with a groin injury.
It is the Gunners who are desperate to sign the Swedish star, but know Newcastle can demand a transfer fee far in excess of the club-record £105million outlay for Declan Rice two years ago.
It has been suggested that Isak will look to leave Newcastle should they fail to qualify for the Champions League this season, though are in pole position to do so with one game of the Premier League season to go.
And when asked this weekend, as his team lost to Arsenal, if Isak will definitely be a Newcastle player next season, Howe said: "I never make those guarantees about any player.”
