Rashford chooses preferred next club
Marcus Rashford has his heart set on joining Barcelona next summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The player has been frozen out at Man United after Ruben Amorim criticised his work rate in training, and has been excused from preseason training so as to find a new club.
Romano added today United ‘don’t count on him’.
Barcelona are expected to make a move after missing out on alternative wing target Nico Williams, who today signed a considerable extension with Athletic Club.
Woltemade to Bayern hits pothole
Bayern Munich have suspended talks with Stuttgart over Nick Woltemade.
The two clubs reportedly disagree as to the player’s valuation, with Stuttgart holding out for around £70m, whereas Bayern are only keen to pay around £43m.
Calvert-Lewin receives Premier League, Bundesliga offers
Leeds have reportedly turned down the opportunity to sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin after his Everton contract expired.
TalkSport report that the two parties were in talks, but that the player asked for too much money.
But Sky Germany add that he has also received offers from the Bundesliga as he chases the opportunity to play European football, though the report did not name any specific clubs.
DONE DEAL: Chelsea wonderkid joins Torino
Remember the name Tino Anjorin? The former Chelsea academy starlet has signed for Torino from Empoli on loan with an obligation to buy, subject to conditions.
Anjorin left Chelsea in 2024 with just five senior appearances under his belt, but served loans with Lokomotiv Moscow, Huddersfield Town, and Portsmouth.
He then joined Serie A side Empoli, making 22 league appearances as the Azzurri were relegated, but he has made the step back up to the top flight with Torino.
Nwaneri in contract talks
Arsenal are in talks to renew Ethan Nwaneri’s contract this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The 18-year-old has understandably caught the eye of a huge range of clubs after making his Premier League debut at just 15 years old.
Now in the last year of his contract, Liverpool were rumoured to be interested in a move, though the player is thought to be keen on staying at the Emirates.
Eze to push for Arsenal switch
Eberechi Eze is said to be keen on a move to the Emirates this summer.
The Crystal Palace star has drawn interest from a range of clubs after leading the Eagles to FA Cup glory last season, with Arsenal thought to be a likely destination.
Eze, whose release clause is worth around £68m, hopes to represent the club he supported as a child.
Juventus to terminate Vlahovic?
Juventus could terminate Dusan Vlahovic’s contract, according to Tuttosport.
The club are hoping to free up some space in the budget by getting his wages off the books.
Should they release the player, they could add another striker after already signing Jonathan David today.
The Serb scored 10 goals and assisted four in 29 Serie A appearances last season.

Juventus have now confirmed the free signing of former LOSC Lille striker Jonathan David.
The Canada international has signed a five-year deal.
Martinelli to Saudi Arabia?
Al-Nassr are reportedly preparing a £73m bid for Arsenal winger Gabriel Martinelli.
According to TalkSport, Mikel Arteta is ‘desperate’ to hold on to the player, but they could still be tempted by the sums on offer.
The deal, should it go through, will more than double Arsenal’s record sale, set when they sold Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool in 2017 for £35m.

Jamie Gittens is in Philadelphia and will attend Chelsea’s Club World Cup quarter-final against Palmeiras today, according to Ben Jacobs.
The player will soon complete a move from Borussia Dortmund to Chelsea, with the move thought to be worth around £55m.
Dortmund confirmed the news in a statement today: “Borussia Dortmund's offensive player Jamie Gittens (20) is on the verge of a transfer to English Premier League club Chelsea FC. All parties involved agreed in principle on this today, Thursday, in Fort Lauderdale (USA). The contractual details are still being finalized.”
