Frank Skinner secretly marries his partner 'on the stairs' at Camden Town Hall with just their son as guest

Comedian Frank Skinner has revealed he secretly married his longtime partner, Cath Mason, in a low-key ceremony on Monday.
The 68-year-old - who began dating Cath in 2001 when she was working as a receptionist at his management company Avalon - declared that they tied the knot “on the stairs” at Camden Town Hall in London.
Skinner and Mason’s wedding was attended by just one guest - their son Buzz who acted as a witness.
The TV presenter begged his friends not to “take offence” at not bagging an invite and admitted he “feels bad” for excluding them and wants to hold a larger event later down the line.
“Can you brace yourselves? You’ll never guess what I did on Monday – I got married. I got f***ing married!” he said on his podcast, Frank Off The Radio.
Skinner told his co-hosts Emily Dean and Pierre Novellie: “Don’t be offended, we didn’t invite anyone. Buzz was a witness. We got married not in a room but on the stairs at Camden Town Hall.”

The former Absolute Radio host revealed he had proposed to Mason but she didn’t want to have a big wedding.
He recalled: “I said to Cath, ‘Will you marry me?’ and she said, ‘I’m not having a f***ing party! I don’t want a load of guests. I’m not going in a church. I don’t want a ring. I’m not wearing a stupid f****ing white dress.’
“So it went on, ‘I’m not doing this!’ I said, ‘Oh, forget it.’
“And then about two weeks later I said, ‘Okay we’ll do it your way.’ I felt bad for the friends. I would have invited everyone.”

The Room 101 presenter added that he’s not trying to persuade Mason to have a party so they can celebrate their union with their friends.
Skinner and Mason welcomed Buzz in 2012.
The comic, who has been sober since 1986 after battling alcoholism n his 20s, previously opened up about how being teetotal helped him be a better parent.
“I do think, I’ve got a kid now and that means I haven’t even been back to it,” he said on Lorraine in 2018.
